Eric Clapton, a legendary vocalist and guitarist will headline the last concert of Life Festival Oswiecim 2014. The artist will play at the MOSiR Stadium on Saturday, 28th of June.
Clapton is one of the most prominent figures in the history of rock music. In the 1960s he was a member of a very influential rock band Cream. He also has played in The Yardbirds, Blind Faith and Derek & The Dominos with whom he recorded famous “Layla” – the ultimate rock anthem. After 50 years on stage he is still very active artist. His last album to date, “Old Sock” was released in March 2013. He is continuously playing concerts – in February and March he will play in Japan, Singapore and Dubai.
The concert at LFO2014 is the only Clapton’s gig in Europe in 2014 that has been confirmed so far.
Tickets for Eric Clapton’s concert at LFO2014 will be on sale from 9th of January.
There are also available carnets for two concerts – 27th and 28th of June. First of them will be headlined by a great American band Soundgarden supported by Balkan Beat Box and Luxtorpeda.
